Senior Ladies Football:

The senior ladies got their season of to a winning start on Sunday morning with a comprehensive win over Naomh Bríd. In a a perfect morning for football the Mac Cumhaills girls raced into an early lead and stamped their authority on the game with fine scores from Cathy De Ward, Caoimhe Mc Menamin and Clara Bradley. As the game went on Kelly Lyons  Eimear Gillooley and Clodagh Lyons also took scores. Clodagh’s point from distance was a joy to behold. This was a very good performance from all over the pitch but special mention has to go to debutants Ava Martin and Eileen Sweeney who made their first senior appearance today the latter firing over a point to finish off her day. Credit must also go to a Naomh Bríd team that have just reformed and never gave up today
