Club Notes: Week ending – 2nd of September 2018

Senior Men’s Football:

The Reserves finished their league campaign at home Versus Termon an won 2.19 to 0.09 and were presented with their trophy by County Board Chairman Mick McGrath. The team have gone unbeaten in the league campaign this season and it’s a great credit to them in achieving this. The seniors also finished a brilliant league season securing promotion back to Division 1 after a 13 year absence also played Termon on Saturday but after an immense game of Championship quality football in which both teams really battled it out, Termon emerged victorious and retained their Division 2 status. Both Seniors and Reserves now prepare for Championship action next Saturday with an away game to Milford, reserve game at 5.00 and senior game at 6.30. Both teams are grateful of all the support shown this far to date and would appreciate the same support as we enter the Championship stage.
