Donegal Games:

It was a bad day all round result wise for the Donegal senior teams. Damian Devaney and the Donegal Ladies lost out to All-Ireland Champions Dublin in O’Donnell Park and the Donegal Hurlers begin their league Campaign with an away loss to Mayo. The Donegal Senior Footballers opened their league campaign with an away game against Kerry but were pipped by a single point despite putting in a strong second half performance.

 

Handball Alley

Anybody/Team looking to use the handball alley over the next couple of weeks needs to contact our club secretary to make a booking. With the pitches closed there will be a lot of activity in the alley. We ask everybody to work together so we can get everybody sorted. Contact Alan Martin on 0861723899.

 

Registration:

Club membership forms for Juvenile, Adult and Family are available from all club coaches/managers and to download from our website (www.seanmaccumhaill.com).  Registration is extremely important and non-registration will result in yourself or your child not being insured and unable to train or play for the club so please register as soon as possible. New members are more than welcome. The club will additional registration nights in the coming weeks.

 

Get Well Soon Alex:

The club would like to wish Alex Mc Geehan a speedy recovery after he picked up a serious injury during the week. Keep your head up Alex and we look forward to seeing you on the pitch again.

 

Under-12 Boy’s Football:

Training for all u12 ( boys born 06 & 07 ) will start on Saturday morning the 3rd of February at 10.00am in Mac Cumhaill Park. All players to bring boots, gumshield, water and €3.  Training for u11’s (boys born 07) will continue for two more Wednesday nights finishing up on Wednesday 7th February.

 

Under-14 Girls Football:

Starting back next Thursday 25th with a six week course of gym work with Paul Smyth in The Base (beside Mart). Session from 7.15 to 8pm, be there from 7.05pm, bring water, €3 and use back door. Plan is then to start back to football on AstroTurf from Tuesday 20th of February from 6-7pm.  New girls welcome who were born in 2004 and 2005. New coaches or those who want to help in any way also welcome. Any queries to Bryan Cannon on 0876236599.

 

Under-14 Boy’s Football:

U14 boys training Monday 7.30 – 8.15pm for Strength and conditioning and on Wednesday 7.30 – 9.00pm on the astro. All new players welcome.

 

Bingo:

The Bingo will take place in the Villa Rose Hotel on Sunday with an 8.30pm start. The Snowball jackpot is €9,000 for 45 numbers or less. All are very welcome.

 

Lotto:

There was no winner of this week’s lotto. The numbers drawn were 9, 10, 21 and 23. There were 6 match 3 winners: Lisa and Noelle McGroarty, Ann Quinn, Fintown, Sean Boyce, Goland, Martha McKelvey, Killygordon, Robert Armstrong, Cloghanmore, The Bell Family, Kiltyferrigal who receive 25euro each. Next week’s jackpot in €5600.
