Donegal Games:

Massive thanks to all our club members for their work in having Mac Cumhaill Park on Sunday for both Donegal men’s and ladies games. A special word of praise to the ground staff for having the ground in top condition. Over 11,250 people attended the games. Commiserations to the Donegal Senior Men’s Team who despite remain unbeaten here in 8 years slip to Division 2 after a draw to Mayo. Congratulations to Damian Devaney and his Ladies Team on an excellent win against Kerry in the curtain raiser.

 

Championship Draw:

We have been drawn in Group D with Milford, Killybegs and reigning County Champions Kilcar. We will have home games against Killybegs and Kilcar.

 

Fixtures:

The Seniors and Reserve Footballers start the league campaign on Friday with a home game against Naomh Muire, The Rosses (times to be confirmed) and an away game to Termon on Sunday, reserves at 1.30 and seniors at 3.00.  All support welcome for the teams and best wishes to the management teams for the year ahead.

 

Registration:

Registration night on Wednesday 28th of March in the clubhouse from 7.00 to 9.00pm. Any players who don’t have membership paid will not be able to take part in training or games after March 31st and members will no longer be able to be considered for tickets during the year – Registrar Enda bogle 0868876401.

 

Rory’s Stories:

Thanks to all who bought tickets and attended the Rory’s Stories Comedy Night on Saturday in the clubhouse. It was a great night and enjoyed by all. Thanks to all who sponsored prizes and the organisers of the event.

 

Bus Eireann:

Thanks to Bus Eireann who sponsored 4 return tickets for 2 people as part of the launch for their new Donegal to Dublin Expressway Service providing a service every 90 minutes in each direction throughout the day.

 

Easter Camp:

The club are running an Easter Camp starting on Tuesday the 3rd of April running to Thursday the 5th of April. The camp will start at 10.00am and end at 2.00pm. There will be lots of games and activities, different sports and fun throughout the week to entertain all present! Prices are as follows: First child is €30, second child is €25 and third child is €20. For more information contact Simon on 085 150 3092.

 

Bingo:

The Bingo will take place in Jackson’s Hotel on Sunday with an 8.30pm start. The Snowball jackpot is €9,000 for 45 numbers or less or €500 for 50 numbers or less. All are very welcome.

 

Lotto:

There was no winner of this week’s lotto. The numbers drawn were 9, 15, 29 and 30. There were 2 match 3 winners: Aiden Heeney and Deirdre & Gary Dunnion who receive €75 each. Next week’s jackpot is €6,400 and Terry O’Reilly and Patsy Mc Cool are selling.
